Duration of the procedure: 7-8 months
 
Validity of the certificate: The trademark in Germany is valid for 10 years from the filing date of the application with the possibility of extension for subsequent 10-year periods.
 
Application fee: from 933 EUR.
 
The application for registration of the Trademark must contain the name and address of the applicant, the place of registration of the legal entity (if the applicant is in another country), the image and description of the trademark, an indication of the presence of a representative or priority, a list of goods and services, confirmation of payment state duties.
 
Germany has such restrictions as

- names, flags, symbols of states, nations, regions or international organizations
- signs that mislead consumer
