The license for transportation of passengers by buses exists in two types:
- License for internal transportation of passengers by buses (for transportation on the territory of Ukraine).
- License for international transport of passengers by buses (for carriage with crossing the border).
To obtain a license for the internal transport of passengers by buses (for transportation on the territory of Ukraine), the following requirements exist:
- Vehicles: buses and minibuses with more than 9 seats (including the driver's seat).
- Experience in business activities: not required.
To obtain a license for international transportation of passengers by bus (for carriage with crossing the border), the following requirements exist:
- Vehicles: buses with more than 20 seats for passengers.
- Experience in business activities: 3 years of work on the basis of a license for domestic bus transportation.
- Special requirements: the presence of a specialist responsible for the organization and safety of international transport.
To get started we need to issue a power of attorney from your company (sealed and signed by the manager). When submitting a package to an authorized body, along with a power of attorney, the following shall be submitted:
- An extract from the register on registration of a legal entity or as a physical person of an entrepreneur.
- Passport and identification number of the director of the company or entrepreneur.
- Certificate of registration of a vehicle (technical passport) - if the bus is owned by an enterprise or an entrepreneur.
- Temporary registration coupon or technical passport for participation in international traffic (if the bus is in your possession, rent, leasing, etc.).
- Information about own material and technical base (parking, repair boxes) or a contract with a third-party organization for the provision of these services (ATP, etc.). If you do not have these documents, we will help them to register.
- A copy of the diploma of a specialist responsible for the organization and safety of international transport (higher or secondary special education).
The general term of the procedure for obtaining a license is from 15 working days from the receipt of all documents.
